Account Deletion Request

This page explains how users of Evost (published by Evost Inc) can request deletion of their account and associated data, what data will be deleted or retained, and applicable timelines.

How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion using either method below:

• Email: Send a request from your registered account email to admin@evostinc.com. Include the details listed below.
• In-app: If you have access, open the Evost app → Settings → Delete Account (when available). We’ll process the deletion under the same policy.

Required Information

• Registered name
• Registered email (used for login)
• Phone number (if associated with the account)
• Optional reason for deletion
• Explicit confirmation that you want the account deleted

Verification

To protect your privacy, we verify deletion requests via email and may request additional information to confirm ownership. Requests must come from the email address associated with your Evost account.

What We Delete

• Account profile data: name, email, phone (if provided), and authentication identifiers.
• App content you created: event details, announcements, attachments you uploaded, and other user-generated content.
• Device identifiers: app-specific identifiers linked to your account.

What May Be Retained

• Payments and financial records (Stripe): Transaction records and limited metadata may be retained to comply with tax, audit, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Evost Inc does not store full card numbers.
• Security and abuse logs: Limited logs may be retained to protect our services and prevent fraud.
• Aggregated analytics: Non-identifying aggregate data may be kept for product improvement.
• Support communications: Prior support emails/tickets may be retained where legally required.

Retention Periods

• Account and app content: Removed upon processing your request, typically within 30 days.
• Backups: Backups may retain deleted records for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
• Security logs: May be retained up to 90 days.
• Financial records: Retained up to 7 years to meet legal and tax requirements.
• Dispute-related data: Retained as needed until the dispute is resolved or the legal requirement ends.

Timeline and Confirmation

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will notify you by email once deletion is complete or if we require additional information.
