Platform Role
Collavent provides technology tools for event planning, coordination, ticketing, and wallet contributions. Collavent is not an event organizer for user-created events and does not control organizer decisions, event operations, or attendee behavior.
Payments and Wallets
- Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe.
- You are solely responsible for confirming recipient identity, account details, and payment amount before sending funds.
- Collavent is not liable for funds sent to the wrong person, account, wallet, or event due to user error.
- Payment instructions may be final and may not be reversible once processed by Stripe or financial institutions.
- Collavent is a technology platform and is not a bank, money transmitter, escrow provider, trustee, or fiduciary with respect to user funds.
- Except as required by law, Collavent has no obligation to mediate, guarantee, or reimburse losses arising from user-to-user payments or organizer-controlled funds.
Event Planners and Organizers
- Event planners and organizers act independently and are not agents, employees, or representatives of Collavent.
- Collavent is not responsible for planner or organizer acts, omissions, intent, negligence, fraud, misrepresentation, cancellations, non-performance, or misuse of funds.
- Collavent does not conduct comprehensive background checks, identity verification, or financial due diligence on all users.
- Any badges, profile indicators, or verification markers are limited signals and not guarantees of identity, legitimacy, safety, or performance.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collavent disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages.
- Collavent is not liable for service interruptions, third-party failures, data loss, security incidents, user conduct, event-related incidents, or payment disputes.
User Release and Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Collavent from claims related to disputes between users, attendees, planners, organizers, vendors, and other third parties, including payment and event disputes. You agree to indemnify and hold Collavent harmless from claims arising from your use of the services, your conduct, your financial transactions, and events you create, organize, or attend.
Force Majeure
Collavent is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet or telecom failures, labor disputes, cyberattacks, payment network outages, and third-party service provider failures.
